资源简介:
The increase in the intensity of low back pain has been associated with clinical-functional alterations in adolescent, however, its association with biomechanics changes, have not yet been clarified. The aims of this study were to verify the effect of low back pain on pain and plantar pressure parameters during gait and the association with the potential risk of chronicity in adolescent classical ballet practitioners. Forty adolescent girls of classical ballet were evaluated and divided in groups of low back pain: moderate (n=14) and high (n=13), and control group (n=13). Main outcome measures: Pain, risk of chronicity for low back pain and Plantar Pressure were assessed using the visual analogue scale, the STarT Back Screening Tool and a pressure platform, respectively. Dancers with moderate and high-intensity low back pain showed alterations in the static and dynamic plantar load of the feet, with greater plantar overload on the medial and lateral rearfoot and reduced plantar support on the midfoot. Adolescent classical ballet dancers with moderate and high intensity low back pain presented greater overload rearfoot and reduced plantar support on the midfoot. The potential risk of chronicity by SBST was associated with peak pressure and maximum force on the midfoot
