Health, job and unemployment, 2000-2006

Several studies have shown a correlation between unemployment and increased mortality and sickness. The negative influence of unemployment is ambiguous in regards to social patterns. The aim of this study is to examine: The health consequences of unemployment. The influence of health problems on the employment of the individual. How psychosocial factors influence the connection between unemployment, marginalization and health. The study provides further insights into social inequality in health, mortality and causality.
