This spatial data set consists of ten layers of geographical information alluding to the marine environment (geomorphology, lithology, sediments of the seabed...) adjacent to the territory of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia:
— Marine geomorphology (mm01_geo_marine)
— Marine lithology (mm02_lito_marine)
— Sediments of the seabed (mm03_fund_marine)
— Bodies of water (mm04_water_marine)
— Marine currents (mm05_current)
— Marine flora (mm06_flora_marine)
— Fishing grounds (mm07_caladero)
— Artificial reefs (mm08_arrecife)
— Aquaculture (mm09_aquaculture)
— Beaches (mm10_beaches)
In 2013 the new version of the Spatial Reference Data of Andalusia (DERA) is published and comes to complete and replace the Spatial Data of Andalusia (DEA100) published in 2009, passing this group to be called G05 Marine Environment.
The information, mainly from the different departments of the Junta de Andalucía, and from numerous public institutions and
municipalities, has been standardised and homogenised to facilitate their comparability, access and immediate integration into any GIS.
