Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1985, Omnibus no. 02

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1985 comprises 22 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1985. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1985 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household, number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status, public or private employment and income; education, occupational status and public or private employment of the head of the household; gross household income; the housewife's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; the respondent's reading habits as regards newspapers, weeklies, fortnightlies, and monthlies; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election; and which party the respondent would vote for at a general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Attitude to surrogate mothers, i.e. women who have a baby for another woman who is unable to give birth herself; attitude to the upbringing of children today; distribution of household duties (whether the husband participates); and whether mankind has progressed or the opposite as regards health, intelligence, general moral standard, personal happiness and degree of satisfaction
