GeoFireGuard

(EN) Driven by the need to provide up-to-date data on natural and human-induced risks due to the climate crisis, GeoFireGuard is an open data service for monitoring and protecting areas at risk of wildfires. It leverages geospatial data from the Sentinel constellations of the Copernicus programme (EU/ESA), HS2, ERA5, Landsat, EMIT, GIBS, Aqua and Terra, TRMM, GPM, IMERG, and the FIRMS service by NASA/USGS (USA).Area of interest: Vulture Alto-Bradano (Basilicata, Italy). (IT) Dall'esigenza di fornire dati sempre più aggiornati sui rischi naturali e antropici legati alla crisi climatica nasce GeoFireGuard, un servizio open data per il monitoraggio e la protezione delle aree a rischio incendio.
