Microarray Expression Analysis of Circular RNA in Perineural Invasion of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

This study aimed to investigate the expression profile of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in pancreatic cancer and evaluate their potential as reliable biomarkers and novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets, with a specific focus on molecular characteristics associated with perineural invasion. We employed Arraystar Human circRNA Array Analysis to detect circRNA expression levels in 3 pancreatic cancer tissues with perineural invasion and 3 pancreatic cancer tissues without perineural invasion. The results revealed significant differences in circRNA expression between the two groups, with distinctly different expression patterns observed in the samples. This study analyzed the expression profile of circRNAs and their potential value as reliable biomarkers and potential novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets for pancreatic cancer, particularly in the context of perineural invasion.? Overall design: To clarify the exact mechanism of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in the process of perineural invasion in pancreatic cancer, total RNA was extracted from 3 pancreatic cancer tissues with perineural invasion and 3 pancreatic cancer tissues without perineural invasion in this study. Next-generation sequencing was performed to explore the differences in circRNA expression profiles between the two groups.
