Supplementary Dataset for Global strategic deployment of Direct Air Capture technologies

This dataset accompanies the publication Global strategic deployment of Direct Air Capture technologies and contains hourly DAC performance time series for the two direct air capture technologies evaluated therein: amine-functionalized temperature vacuum swing adsorption (S-DAC) and electrified hydroxide looping liquid solvent DAC (L-DAC). The time series were generated from ERA5 weather data (2018) using the weather-dependent performance parameterizations described in the associated publication and serve as inputs to the techno-economic optimization model. The techno-economic results, including regional DAC potential, levelized cost of DAC (LCOD), total annualized cost (TAC), and the data underlying all figures in the associated publication, are provided in the accompanying Excel file.
