资源简介:
Transcriptome analyses were performed to further disentangle hypothalamic control of spontaneous daily torpor and seasonal adaptation, concentrating on the most extreme metabolic and seasonal states of the Djungarian hamster (Phodopus sungorus). Sampling took place four hours after lights on (Zeitgeber-Time 4, ZT04) in spontaneous daily torpor, an energy-saving mechanism when adapted to short photoperiod (SPHT, n = 4, hypothermic core body temperature), on a torpor-free day when adapted to short photoperiod (SPNT, n = 4, normothermia), or when remained in long photoperiod (LPNT, n = 4, normothermia). The data must be interpreted with respect to the metabolic and seasonal context, as described in the manuscript of the original research.
