Seismic Spectral Parameters

The dataset contains the spectral parameters to be used to define the seismic action of the project on any point of the Italian territory pursuant to the Technical Regulations for Construction referred to in the Ministerial Decree 14.01.2008. For each of the 10751 points, identified by an identifier and geographical coordinates (datum ED50), there are the three parameters ag (maximum horizontal acceleration of the ground), F0 (maximum value of the amplification factor of the spectrum) and Tc (period of beginning of the stretch at constant speed of the spectrum), calculated for the reference intervals of 30, 50, 72, 101, 140, 201, 475, 975 and 2474 years. The data have been published in the Official Journal (Annex B to Ministerial Decree 14.01.2008, G.U.R.I. 4 February 2008, S.O. n.30) and are on the website of the High Council of Public Works (http://www.cslp.it/cslp/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=49&Itemid=20).
