Whole genome of Meyerozyma guilliermondii

Whole genome sequencing was performed for Meyerozyma guilliermondii MC01 following isolation to characterize its genomic features and enable comparactive and functional genomic analyses. The strain was isolated randomly from the refrigerator (-4 degree celcius) environment in a long-stored (5 months) synthetic medium containing glucose and xylose as the only carbon source and sequencing was conducted using illumina technology. Raw sequencing data are publicly available to facilitate further biological and bioinformatics investigations.
