Net cost of the region’s dental care allowance (excluding pharmaceuticals), SEK/adult residents

Net cost for the region’s dental care allowance (excluding costs for medicines within the pharmaceutical benefit), divided by the adult population of the region. Adult means people who are above the age limit for free dental care for children and young people. Until 2016, this refers to the year in which the person turns 21. In 2017 the year when the person turns 22, in 2018 the year when the person turns 23. The region’s dental care allowance includes outreach and necessary dental care provided to people with high nursing needs, as well as those with a need for special dental care as part of disease treatment.
