In February and March 2019, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of land to the north of Stafflands Farm, North Petherton, Somerset. A total of five trenches were excavated within the site. The evaluation recorded a rectangular enclosure and a sub-circular enclosure or structure in the south-eastern part of the site. Associated dating evidence was limited, but was prehistoric in date. Also recorded at the site were two isolated undated postholes and an amorphous feature, potentially representing a hollow.
