DCE basins

A DCE basin corresponds to: — or to a national river basin district (example: The rivers of Corsica) — a portion of an international river basin district situated in the territory of a Member State (examples: the Meuse; the Sambre) Each WFD basin has a coordinating competent authority which is the body responsible for the implementation of the WFD within the WFD basin. Its cartographic representation is the aggregation of polygons of the administrative DCE sub-basins composing it. The geographical coverage is National (Metropolitan France + DOM).
