Whale Watching Platform at Barry Park Lookout, Fingal Bay NSW

This project will provide educational signage, a coin-operated telescope, seating and a disabled-accessible viewing platform constructed from composite plastic for the growing eco-tourism pursuit of whale watching in the Port Stephens area. The project will be part of a National Whale Trail to track whales as they migrate along Australia’s coastline.
Port Stephens is recognised as one of the Top 10 whale watching spots in Australia, according to National Geographic and Barry Park Lookout, Fingal Bay has been highlighted as one of the Top Spots for land-based whale watching in Port.
