Supplemental Table 1: Summary of response properties
of putative pyramidal and interneurons recorded during the progressive weight
weightlifting task. Values expressed in terms of percent of total number of
neurons for each type. The number of phases refer to the number of task-phases
neurons were selective for. Phasic and tonic refer to the neurons’ response
during a task phase based on how many bins neurons fired more than 2 standard
deviations above their mean firing rate. Excitatory and inhibitory refer to
neurons increasing (excitatory) or decreasing (inhibitory) their firing rates
during a task phase compared to their overall mean firing rate.
