This project presents a systematic review aimed at mapping how social presence is defined, measured, and elicited in interactions between users and conversational agents. The review will synthesize theoretical perspectives, measurement tools, and empirical findings related to social presence and its effects on user trust, satisfaction, engagement, and intention to use. The project follows PRISMA 2020 guidelines and adopts the PICOs framework for eligibility criteria.
