Draft genome of the lichenized fungus Bacidia gigantensis. Bacidia gigantensis strain:McMullin 20006

The draft genome sequence of Bacidia gigantensis, a bark-dwelling lichenized fungus in the order Lecanorales, was sequenced directly from a herbarium specimen collected from the type locality, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park along the north Shore of Lake Superior, Ontario, Canada. Using long read sequencing on the Oxford Nanopore PromethION platform we assembled a nearly complete genome.
