Registration and Reporting of Interventional Studies on Dental Erosion and Erosive Tooth Wear in ClinicalTrials.gov: Dataset and Analysis Materials

This repository contains the data and supporting materials for the cross-sectional meta-research study entitled “Registration and Reporting of Interventional Studies on Dental Erosion and Erosive Tooth Wear in ClinicalTrials.gov: A Cross-Sectional Meta-Research Study.” The repository includes the original ClinicalTrials.gov search exports, the deduplicated screening dataset, coding of eligible interventional records and registered primary outcomes, publication-matching and registry–publication concordance data, analysis-ready datasets, statistical analysis materials, manuscript tables and figure data, validation checks, and a data dictionary. ClinicalTrials.gov was searched on July 17, 2026. Five terms were entered separately in the Condition/disease field: “Dental erosion,” “Tooth erosion,” “Erosive tooth wear,” “Erosive toothwear,” and “Erosive dental wear.” No restrictions were applied by study type, recruitment status, location, sponsor, or registration date. The original registry records are publicly available from ClinicalTrials.gov. The deposited files contain no participant-level data, identifiable personal or clinical information, or copyrighted full-text articles.
