As of August 2020, the net profit of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., also referred to as Masteel or Magang, amounted to around 997 million yuan. Maanshan Steel is one of the biggest steelmakers in the world. It is controlled by the Chinese state-owned Magang (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Masteel Group).
