Weather files and simulation results for "Insulation cools the day but warms the night in metal roofed worker rental rooms in Vietnam"

Dataset supporting a simulation study of day and night heat exposure in metal roofed worker rental rooms in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. HaNoi_NamThuc_2010.epw, HaNoi_NamThuc_2017.epw, HCM_NamThuc_2016.epw and HCM_NamThuc_2024.epw are actual year weather files for Noi Bai (WMO 488200) and Tan Son Nhat (WMO 489000) airports. Temperature, dew point, pressure and wind are hourly observations from the NOAA Integrated Surface Database, with short gaps interpolated and longer gaps filled from ERA5. Solar radiation is from ERA5, corrected by quantile mapping against the TMYx 2011 to 2025 files and split with the Erbs model. KetQuaPhongTroCongNhan.xlsx contains the results of 2344 EnergyPlus 25.2.0 runs (room generations, low cost retrofits, behaviour, day and night shifts, heat wave years, air conditioning, power outages, Morris and Sobol uncertainty analysis). cau_hinh_chay_2340.json gives every model input. README.txt explains the sheets and column names; MANIFEST.txt lists file sizes and md5 checksums. The simulation program is available from the author on reasonable request ([e-mail]).
