The Queensland Emergency Data Collection (EDC) is an administrative data collection that contains demographic, administrative and clinical data detailing presentations to Emergency Departments (ED) at most public hospitals in Queensland. The EDC is based on the "Non-admitted Patient Emergency Department Care‟ National Minimum Data Set (NMDS). The collection contains information on patients' journey through the ED, describes the care and treatment provided and provides alerts.
