Financial equilibrium Political municipalities: Overall impact

The dataset contains data on the financial equilibrium of the political communes of the canton of Thurgau since 2004.The data set shows per political municipality which amount the municipality was disbursed as part of the financial compensation per year, or what amount was collected by the municipality. It contains data from 2004 onwards. Payments or levies have been made since 2008 only if they amount to at least 1'000 Swiss francs.Negative signs each indicate the payment to the municipality, positive signs of levies from the municipality (variable “payment and levy in CHF”).The variable “Disbursement and levy in CHF/inhabitant” shows the amount paid per municipality (negative sign) or collected (positive sign) amount relative to the number of inhabitants of the municipality (inhabitant as per 31.12 of the previous year according to cantonal population survey). No value means neither payout nor levies.
