VHH repertoire of immunized alpaca

When excellent antibodies are produced in the body of an antigen-immunized animal, a change occurs called affinity maturation, which involves somatic hypermutation of the antibody sequence. In this project, in order to clarify the details of affinity maturation, an alpaca was immunized with an antigen and blood samples were collected over time, and the sequence of variable regions of heavy chain antibodies (IgG2 and IgG3) were analyzed using a next-generation DNA sequencer.
