Research Data for: Armenian-Iranian Oikumene and the Turco-Mongolian Order: Cultural Synthesis and the Chronology of the Toponym Qarabagh

This dataset comprises supplementary research materials for the article "Armenian-Iranian Oikumene and the Turco-Mongolian Order: Cultural Synthesis and the Chronology of the Toponym Qarabagh".It includes seven comprehensive tables documenting toponyms of the Qarabagh, Bagh-e Siyah, and Qarabay types across Iran, Afghanistan, the Caucasus, Turkey, and Central Asia, with geographical coordinates, chronological attestations, and source references.The dataset also contains a detailed historical chronicle of Kurdish tribal presence in Karabakh from the 10th to the 20th century, along with quantitative stratifications of toponymic and ethnic layers.A full bibliography of primary and secondary sources used in the study is provided in a structured format.A distribution map of Qarabagh-type toponyms visualises the transcontinental spread of this toponymic model from the Seljuk period to the modern era.All materials are presented in PDF format, with tabular data.The dataset is made available under a CC BY 4.0 license to facilitate open access and reproducibility.These data support the article's central thesis that Qarabagh emerged as a structural calque of the Persian Bagh-e Siyah model and was administratively consolidated during the Mongol and post-Mongol periods.
