This habitat map is derived from a statistical species habitat model (SHM) that predicts the likely distribution and relative probability that the habitat conditions across the landscape support the Santa Cruz long-toed salamander (Ambystoma macrodactylum croceum) across their yearlong range, represented by a continuous surface with values between 0 and 1. This species habitat model was created by the Range and Distribution Mapping and Analysis Project (RADMAP).
