Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1981, Omnibus no. 06

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1981 comprises 21 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1981. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1981 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the house- hold and number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children (persons under 15) and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupation- al status and income; the bread-winner's education, occupational status and form of payment; total household income; the spouse's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbaniza- tion; whether the household possesses a car, colour TV, or washing machine; whether the respondent had smoked various forms of tobacco on the day before the interview; the respondent's newspaper reading habits; habits as regards weeklies, monthlies, etc.; the respondent's last cinema visit; use of buses; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election; and which party the respondent would vote for at a hypothetical general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions of omnibus no. 06 deal with such issues as: # #The respondent's interest in politics; society's effort to help drug addicts; common-law marriages and their influence on society as a whole and on individuals; women and politics, in- cluding Ritt Bjerregaard; profit sharing; membership of a trade union under LO (the Danish Trades Union Congress); and the con- flict between A.P. Møller and the Government
