Investigation of a gonorrhea outbreak in Burkina Faso. The 52 cultured isolates were whole-genome sequenced (illumina technology) and compared (based on SNP in the core-genome) and the molecular determinants (chromosomal and plasmidic) for antimicrobial resistance were analysed in silico. Clinical data were merged with genomic data to identify transmission networks and the presence of resistant strains.
