Imaging FlowCytobot Observations from Salt Pond, Eastham, MA (2015 and 2021) and a Dinophysis acuminata Culture Experiment

This dataset consists of four Imaging FlowCytobot (IFCB) datasets, comprised of images of nano- and micro-plankton triggered by particle scatter. Two datasets represent time-series observations from D. acuminata blooms in Salt Pond, Eastham, Massachusetts, collected in the summers of 2015 and 2021 from subsurface waters at an observatory platform at the pond’s center. These two datasets are a subset of all the IFCB image data collected during this time period and only represent the samples that were annotated and analyzed in the associated manuscript. The other two datasets come from a culture experiment in 2024 in which Mesodinium prey availability was manipulated across two treatments (prey-saturated and prey-limited) and tracked for 12 days. The .hdr files contain sample metadata, including field names for the .adc file. The .adc file contains flow cytometric data from each image, including particle scatter parameters. The .roi file contains all the images associated with that sample.
