资源简介:
"Recent works on carbon-efficient computing have made use of freely and openly available carbondata from sources such as Electricity Maps (EM). Geographically, these data are relatively coarse-grain—in case of ElectricityMaps, in Europe, they are limited to “Bidding Zones”, which are definedby “ENTSO-E”, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. Countriessuch as France, Spain, and the Netherlands only have one bidding zone for all available/historical data. This constrains algorithms on carbon-based computing. For instance, We argue that the necessary underlying information to provide such fine-grain data is in fact openly available, and propose an approach that utilizes various input sources to achieve this goal. Using Spain and Germany as examples, we illustrate that real-time carbon intensity levels can differ significantly between smaller regions. The data uploaded are regional hourly carbon intensity of Germany and Mainland Spain from 2024"
