Data for "Sahara Greening Drives Interhemispheric Coupling of African and South American Monsoons"

This dataset contains monthly climatological atmospheric model output from a suite of 6 ka CAM experiments used to isolate the contributions of Green Sahara vegetation forcing and sea-surface-temperature forcing to tropical circulation and South American precipitation. The archive includes a 6 ka control simulation, a combined Green Sahara experiment, a vegetation-only experiment, a global SST-only experiment, and a tropical Pacific SST-only experiment. The files are CAM monthly climatologies on the same horizontal grid and vertical coordinate system. Anomalies should be calculated relative to the 6 ka control file unless otherwise stated.
