miRNA with Tumorigenicity of MDCK cell

The Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cell line is an adherent cell line derived from distal renal tubule cells of a female cocker spaniel and has been widely used in researching influenza virus and favoured for the production of influenza vaccines. Safety and effectiveness are the main focuses of vaccine development and production. Studying the molecular mechanism of the tumorigenic phenotype of MDCK cells has certain significance in determining the biosafety of this cell line and the application of vaccine production matrices. We hope to reveal the mechanism of tumorigenicity of MDCK cells related to the interaction between miRNA and target genes.
