More than six million substances belong to the chemical group of per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS). This extensive group of substances also poses a challenge for analytics. In particular, the demonstration of the total PFAS exposure is highly relevant for monitoring and risk assessment. Within the scope of the present study, various analytical methods for the determination of PFAS in groundwater and surface waters, sewage treatment plant inflows and outflows as well as landfill leachate were tested. A particular focus was on the evaluation of methods for the determination of the ‘total PFAS’ parameter in accordance with the Drinking Water Directive (TWD (EU)2020/2184 as amended) in order to support the European Commission in establishing technical guidelines for the determination of this parameter.

全氟和多氟烷基物质(per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances, PFAS)作为一类化学物质,其成员数量已超600万种。该类物质体量庞大,同时给分析检测工作带来了诸多挑战。尤为关键的是,总PFAS暴露量的表征对于环境监测与风险评估具有极高的相关性。本研究针对地下水、地表水、污水处理厂进出水以及垃圾渗滤液中PFAS的多种分析检测方法展开了测试评估。研究的核心重点在于,依据经修订的《饮用水指令》(TWD (EU)2020/2184)中关于‘总PFAS’参数的检测要求,对相关方法进行评价,以期为欧盟委员会制定该参数的检测技术指南提供支撑。
