This data is used in a paper which aims to show that unlike traditional O-band active regions using p-modulation doping, co-doped active regions are not limited to eight dot-in-well layers. Consequently, co-doped active regions with more layers could lead to lower threshold current density and, therefore, longer lived, more temperature insensitive laser devices.txt files titled "R[number] at [Number]% power" contain photoluminescence data for multiple dot-in-well (DWELL) samples with various laser input powers. R4 corresponds to a sample with eight DWELL layers, R3 has fourteen DWELL layers and R2 has twelve DWELL layers.The other txt files (in accordance with their names) show the peak gain for the same samples against the transparency energy (both with and without a correction to account for varying dot distributions) measured using the segmented contact method.
