SANGEET

SANGEET数据集是首个基于XML的北印度古典音乐数据集，由XIM大学的计算机科学与工程学院创建。该数据集收录了约1900首由著名音乐学家Pt. Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande创作的音乐作品中的116首，涵盖了多种音乐元素如旋律、节奏和结构信息。数据集的创建过程涉及将音乐作品转换为XML格式，以便于存储和提取音乐信息。SANGEET数据集主要应用于音乐信息检索、音乐可视化和计算音乐学等领域，旨在通过机器学习和统计分析深入理解北印度古典音乐。SANGEET dataset is the first XML-based North Indian classical music dataset, created by the School of Computer Science and Engineering at XIM University. It contains 116 musical pieces selected from approximately 1900 works created by the renowned musicologist Pt. Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande, covering various musical elements including melody, rhythm and structural information. The creation process of the SANGEET dataset involves converting musical works into XML format to facilitate storage and extraction of musical information. The SANGEET dataset is mainly applied in fields such as music information retrieval, music visualization and computational musicology, aiming to gain in-depth understanding of North Indian classical music through machine learning and statistical analysis.
