The compilation provides an assessment of the ecological and chemical status of water bodies in the lake category, based on national environmental monitoring data or expert judgement. The ecological status is determined on the basis of indicators of physico-chemical, hydromorphological and biological quality elements, in accordance with the Methodology for Determining the State of Surface Water Bodies. The chemical status was determined in accordance with the Waste Water Management Regulation.
