As a result Parish Maps were prepared for the Central and Eastern Divisions of the State to provide cadastral data for the orderly management, conservation and disposal of Crown lands. The District Office Administrative Maps were originally duplicated by Administrative Maps held at Head Office. Amendments and updates made to the District Office Administrative Maps were not always made to the Head Office Administrative Maps. The Head Office Administrative Maps were discontinued after 30 December 1990. Thereafter amendments and updates were only made to the District Office Administrative Maps.
