Microglia-specific gene transcription mechanism during inflammation response. Mus musculus strain:C57BL/6

Microglia are resident immune cells in the central nervous system that regulate the innate and adaptive immune systems. Gene transcription in immune cells is regulated by various toll-like receptor signaling pathways based on the type of stimulus. To identify microglia-specific transcription mechanisms, we performed whole transcriptome shotgun sequencing and chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by high-throughput DNA sequencing for PU.1 binding regions after LPS treatment (10 ng/ml) in microglia.
