The RNA binding protein T-STAR controls alternative splicing of important synaptic proteins, and of its paralog SLM1, but its overall functions or physiological importance are unknown. These RNAseq analyses use dissected material from wild type and T-STAR knock out mice. The aim was to identify gene expression changes in the absence of T-STAR protein. RNAseq reads were taken from wild type mice and mice with homozygous deletions of the Khdrbs3 gene Wild type Ammon's Horn, homozygote Khdrbs3 Ammon's Horn, wild type Dentate Gyrus.

RNA结合蛋白T-STAR可调控重要突触蛋白及其旁系同源物SLM1的可变剪接,但其整体功能与生理学意义尚不明确。本次RNA测序(RNA-seq)分析采用了野生型与T-STAR基因敲除小鼠的解剖组织样本,旨在鉴定T-STAR蛋白缺失状态下的基因表达变化。本次测序的读段来源于两类小鼠的三类组织:野生型小鼠海马角、Khdrbs3基因纯合缺失小鼠的海马角,以及野生型小鼠齿状回。
