Far-Right Activism (FARAC): A County-Level Dataset of German Far-Right Music Events, Protests, and Violence, 2013–2024

A county-level panel dataset integrating three streams of German far-right activism — music events, protests, and violence - harmonized to fixed 2024 administrative (county/Kreis) boundaries for 2013–2024. Music and protest records derive from German federal parliamentary inquiries (Bundestag Drucksachen); violence figures come from civil-society counseling centers (VBRG network) and, for cross-validation, official politically-motivated-crime statistics. The dataset provides a balanced county-year panel (400 counties × 12 years) with INKAR population/area covariates, plus event-level music and protest files, a monthly music/protest file, and 2024 county boundaries. All identifiers are the official 5-digit AGS for direct integration with electoral, sociodemographic, and other county-level data. Personal identifiers have been removed; point coordinates are withheld under BKG terms but reproducible from the released location fields.
