CC (classification of buildings) Description: The classification of structures was developed on the basis of the provisional Central Product Classification (CPC) published by the United Nations in 1991. The CPC distinguishes between the main categories of buildings and civil engineering, which are also used as sections in the CC. The CC is designed for various purposes: Construction activities statistics, construction reports, building and housing censuses, price statistics on construction works, national accounts. It also serves to observe the entire lifetime of the buildings: Change of use, transactions, renovation, termination. No direct relationship with other classifications
