This dataset contains soil data from a traffic experiment for digestate application using three different agricultural vehicle combinations (tractor with slurry tank, approx. 28.6 t; Self-propelled slurry tank, approx. 41.8 t; tractor with umbilical cord technique, approx. 12.0 t). The experiment took place in the spring of 2017. The soil is a stagnic Luvisol. The vehicle combinations drove successively over defined plots. The experiments were conducted only in the inner field. Before the traffic, two pits were dug, and after the traffic, two pits were dug per variant. The following measurements were conducted at depths of 20, 35, and 50 cm in each pit: • Soil pressure and plastic soil deformation • Water retention properties, bulk density, and saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks) (100 cm³ core samples; 5 replicates per pit and depth (for Ks 5 to 6)). Derived from these were total porosity, air capacity, field capacity, permanent wilting point, and dry bulk density • Biopores were counted in each pit and depth"
