In 2022, Australia's yeast exports reached around seven million U.S. dollars, in which active yeasts accounted for more than half of the yeast export market, valued at around 4.9 million U.S. dollars. Other smaller segments of the Australian yeast export market included inactive yeasts and baking powders.
