Compilation of North Atlantic bivalve records suitable to assess early warning signals for tipping points

Compilation of bivalve records from the North Atlantic used in the study "Recent and early twentieth century destabilization of the subpolar North Atlantic recorded in bivalves". This dataset is a compilation of records contributed by various researchers. As such, when utilising this data, please ensure you appropriately cite the original authors for each record. The file metadata_sel_rec.csv contains the metadata and descriptive information for each record. The original sources for each record are listed in the "Reference" and "Original Publication" columns. The file sel_records_data.csv contains the dataset corresponding to the records. The first column represents the Year (CE), years are given in the Common Era (Gregorian calendar).
