Isotope dataset and R-codes to: KEMPF, M. et al. Adaptive connectivity networks across climatic and ecological regimes from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages in the Carpathian Basin
收藏资源简介:
Isotope dataset and R-codes involved in the isotope part of the paper: Kempf, M., Luterbacher, J., Petrik, J., Büntgen, U., Bickle, P., Kreiter, A., Xoplaki, E., Depaermentier, M.L.C., (2026) Adaptive connectivity networks across climatic and ecological regimes from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages in the Carpathian Basin. Under review in QSR. 1) Compilation_of_published_C_and_N_stable_isotope_data. csv Compilation of published carbon and nitrogen stable isotope data used for the isotope review. The data was collected either directly from the open access publication or from field-specific open source repositories. Due to the csv format, the site and culture names are simplified and exclude any umlaut. Original spelling can be found in the original references, which are detailed in column "Original_Reference". Only the entries marked with “yes” in column “Collagen_dataset” were involved in the R-codes described below, producing Fig. S7, Table S2 and Table S3 of the associated paper. 2) R_Code_ANOVA.pdf R-code used for ANOVA tests to verify the significance of the impact of chronological periods, ecozone clusters, and ecozone clusters within each period on the collagen δ13C and δ15N values of human and herbivore remains in the study area. The results are listed in Table S2 of the associated paper. 3) R_Code_GAM.pdf R-code used for Generalized Additive Models (GAM) to verify the respective role of the chronology (mean date BCE/CE), spatial location (longitude, latitude), and ecological parameters (mean temperature [TMP], mean climatic water balance [CMI], and mean elevation [ELV] within the associated ecozone cluster), and on the variance observed in collagen δ13C and δ15N values of human and herbivore remains in the study area. The results are listed in Table S3 of the associated paper.
