资源简介:

This table provides figures on the number of registered crimes and clarifications per month and per year. These are broken down by type of crime and per police unit. The attempts were also included in the recorded crimes. For some crimes (e.g. murder/homicide), this results in a much higher number than just the number of completed crimes. Since July 2018, it is no longer possible to record multiple offences, which are related to each other (concurrence), in a single registration. An example of this is a street robbery in which a firearm (property) is used. If multiple offences occur in one registration, only the most serious offence was counted before July 2018. As a result of this adjustment, a number of offences show an increase compared to 2018. This is mainly about home-breaking, special laws including money laundering, arms trafficking including possession of arms, drug trafficking, impairing public order, and other social integrity, including insults. The increase was therefore especially visible in the last 6 months of 2018. This adjustment has a limited impact on the total number of crimes. For the whole of 2018, this causes an increase of approximately 1.0 %. Since 30 April 2020, it is possible to report WhatsApp fraud via the Internet (also called friend-in-emergency fraud). This was used frequently immediately. In the months of May to December 2020, approximately 20.000 reports of WhatsApp fraud were made. WhatsApp fraud is registered under Horizontal fraud. The increase in the clarification rate in the first 6 months of 2022 year is partly due to the decrease in online crime (crime offences with relatively low clarification rate). Furthermore, there is a system change that fixed the old date for a number of registrations by a date in the first half of 2022. As a result, the clarification rate is temporarily higher in the last months of the reporting period. Declarations relate to registered crimes for which a PV of declarations has been drawn up. Several reports may have been made per crime. Internet declaration can only be made for a selected number of offences and only if there is no detection indication. A registered crime is considered to be clarified as soon as a suspect has been linked to it and has been heard. A suspect doesn't have to confess. The fact that a verbalist continues to regard him/her as a suspect after the interview means that he/she has, in the opinion of the verbalist, been rightly identified as a suspect. The clarification rate is calculated by dividing the number of clarifications from a period by the number of registered crimes from the same period. The clarifications may therefore relate to crimes of a different period. This has been chosen because otherwise it takes a long time before the figures are final (a registration can be clarified much later than a crime has been registered). As a result, the clarification rates over recent periods would be too low. In the case of offences with little detection (internet declarations and/or offences where no physical contact has taken place), the clarification rate is lower than where physical contact took place (e.g. robbery and street robbery). Data available from: 2012 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are regularly updated. This can lead to small differences from previous publications. Updating of the figures is necessary, for example, to be able to incorporate retroactively the reclassification of municipalities or adjustment in the coding with retroactive effect. Figures on declarations and internet declarations are updated after each quarter. Changes as of 15 January 2024: Figures for the fourth quarter of 2023 and the total of 2023 have been added. When will there be new figures? The figures for the first quarter of 2024 are added on 15 April.
