Whole Genome Sequencing of hydrogen oxidizing autotrophic bacterium, Rhodococcus opacus (strain DSM43205)

The genome sequence of Rhodococcus opacus (DSM43205) was obtained by using a combination of short-read Illumina-based paired-end sequencing (2x125bp) and long-read sequencing using PacBio Sequel SMRT platform. The sequencing library preparation and the sequencing experiments were performed by BaseClear BV (Leiden, The Netherlands). The genome assembly was performed using Unicycler hybrid assembly pipeline.
