Quantities of drugs and cash detected by drug dogs and cash from the AGD&A Dog Squad

This table provides a description of the quantities of drugs and money detected by dogs specializing in drugs and cash from the canine brigade, by calendar year and type. Missions: • Dog handlers are responsible for training dog teams (dog handler + tracker dog). • Depending on its training and specialization, the dog will be used to flush out drugs, tobacco products, explosives, weapons, money or titles. • The dog team is deployed throughout Belgium under the control of the Customs and Excise Administration and is mainly used as a support service at the request of the inspection and investigation services of the AGD&A, the Federal Police, the local police forces and the FPS Justice. Training: Dog teams regularly undergo training in Belgium and abroad.
