Transcriptome of C. elegans and C. inopinata

For RNA-sequencing, 100 individuals of C. elegans (N2) and C. inopinata were picked and immersed in solution with careful treatment of decontamination of Escherichia coli as their food as possible. The worms were homogenized and frozen repeatedly several times. In both species, the RNA samples of each sex (hermaphrodite/males for C. elegans and female/male for C. inopinata) in larval stage 4 and young adult were prepared.
