Simulated project risk and earned‑value dataset: project features, monthly PV/EV/AC time series and delay/cost outcomes

This dataset provides a synthetic benchmark for project risk and earned‑value management based on 1,000+ projects with rich static descriptors and simulated performance trajectories. The project_risk_raw_dataset.csv file contains the raw project‑level risk and context variables, including project type, team size, budget and planned duration, delivery methodology, team and organizational experience, dependency and integration complexity, change and risk history, governance and process maturity, stakeholder engagement, schedule pressure, market and industry volatility, and related attributes. Using these features as inputs, a rule‑based simulation framework generates monthly trajectories of Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV) and Actual Cost (AC) together with standard earned‑value indicators. The resulting time‑series are stored in simulated_project_ev_metrics_final.csv.xlsx in long format, with one row per project‑month and columns for PV, EV, AC and derived performance indices such as monthly and cumulative CPI/SPI and cost and schedule variances. Finally, project_delay_cost_overrun_summary_final.csv.xlsx aggregates these dynamics into project‑level outcomes, reporting simulated actual duration, total cost, schedule delay, cost overrun and final CPI/SPI for each project. This structure allows users to join static risk factors, monthly PV/EV/AC behavior and end‑of‑project outcomes for descriptive analysis, forecasting and benchmarking of risk‑aware control models.
