The impact of capital structure on the market value of technology companies

This dataset presents the main operational and financial indicators of technology companies from S&P500. To implement this study, a sample of 100 companies included in the S&P500 index for 2010-2022 was collected. The sample was obtained from the Bloomberg database. The sample includes companies from two sectors: information technology and biotechnology companies.
Within the framework of this study, 2 main hypotheses are put forward:
1) The selected sources of financing have a significant impact on the market value of companies in the technology sector;
2) The ratio of equity and debt capital has a significant impact on the assessment of the company by the market.
